This is the fastest drive-thru chain in America

It’s called “fast food” because it’s meant to be made, assembled, packaged and in your hands in mere minutes. But not all drive-thru dining establishments can deliver on this promise. There is, however, one fast food chain that delivers your order in the blink of an eye. A QSR Magazine study found that when you really need your order in a hurry, Burger King is the way to go. The restaurant chain best known for its flame broiled burgers was the fastest drive-thru chain in America in 2018. The study found that it only took three minutes and 13 seconds from the point of ordering, to the moment the order arrived in the hands of the customer. https://www.instagram.com/p/BmOKSFFnPUV/?taken-by=burgerking Trailing Burger King’s record came Dunkin’, Wendy’s, Taco Bell, Arby’s, Carl’s Jr., Hardee’s, Chick-fil-A, and McDonald’s — in that order. (Popular In-N-Out Burger and Bojangles’ were not included in the study because…

10 Facts you never knew about Chick-fil-A

Chick-fil-A is one of the most popular fast-food restaurants in the country today, but its history dates back to the 1940s when founder S. Truett Cathy invented the chicken sandwich at his original restaurant, the Dwarf House, in Hapeville, Georgia. It would be another two decades before he used that recipe and opened the first ever Chick-fil-A restaurant in Atlanta, Georgia. Today, the restaurant is predicted to become the third-largest fast-food chain in the country — a feat that would have it surpassing Wendy’s, Burger King, and even Taco Bell. Here are 10 facts you never knew about everyone’s favorite fast-food chicken restaurant. 1. The “A” in the name is symbolic The “A” at the end of “Chick-fil-A” isn’t just a fun play on the word chicken “fillet.” It also refers to the Grade A quality meat served at the restaurants. 2. Only three states don’t have Chick-fil-A restaurants Since opening the first…

In-N-Out Burger voted America’s favorite fast-food restaurant again

One fast-food joint continues to attract fans from all across America — even if they’re only found on one coast. For the second year in a row, In-N-Out Burger has topped Market Force’s annual customer survey of the nation’s favorite quick-serve restaurant chains. Despite being famously limited to the West Coast, the beloved California-based burger chain earned a 76 percent rating in customer loyalty — higher than any restaurant in any category. In-N-Out has more than 300 locations, all in western states. But there’s competition on the horizon. While In-N-Out Burger won Market Force’s survey last year, Five Guys won out in the separate Harris Poll last year. Chick-Fil-A fans voted the chicken chain second place with an overall ranking and 73 percent in customer loyalty. Other big winners include Culver’s, a burger chain originating in Wisconsin now found in 24 states with 66 percent loyalty, and Raising Cane’s, another specialty chicken restaurant.…

Here’s the Most Hated Food in Each State

Having similar dislikes is just as important as having similar likes for some people. But that’s the idea behind date app Hater. The app was launched earlier this year and promises to match users based on their mutual disdain for anything from fashion stylers to celebrities and even certain foods — wouldn’t it settle so many pizza delivery problems if you and your partner both hated Hawaiian pizza? Well, the people behind Hater compiled information from more than 600,000 users to show us a profile of what foods are most commonly hated state-by-state. Some findings aren’t surprising. Washington, the coffee capital of the country, hates Keurig K-cups, while Texans who pride themselves in the meat market, can’t stand their steak cooked well done. And Vermont, the New England King of Cheese, wants nothing to do with that artificial spray cheese from a can. But some of them are hard to rationalize. How…

Chick-fil-A rolling out gluten-free bun, but there’s a catch

Chick-fil-A has gone gluten free! Not entirely, but the nationwide chicken sandwich chain is poised to capitalize on its consumers’ dietary needs with a new menu offering. Chick-fil-A announced on Monday that it will offer gluten-free buns at restaurants nationwide, after reportedly receiving positive feedback from test marketed areas in 2016. The gluten-free bun is made with ancient grains quinoa and amaranth and sweetened with molasses and raisins. “We know our customers are looking for more gluten-sensitive alternatives. They asked, and we listened,” said Leslie Neslage, senior consultant of menu development at Chick-fil-A in a release on the company’s Chicken Wire. “Our hope is that the Gluten-Free Bun addition opens up options for gluten-sensitive customers to enjoy more of our menu.” The new bun can be ordered with any of the restaurant’s sandwiches. But there is one catch. Customers who order the gluten-free buns will have to assemble their sandwiches themselves. According to…
