Who out there hasn’t craved a pickle-flavored frozen drink? Well, that’s probably most people. But Sonic Drive-In will roll out the new flavor in June. Maria Yagoda, a writer for Food & Wine, had the chance to sample the pickle juice snow cone slush recently at the company’s headquarters and came away impressed. “Sweet and tangy, the bright brine compensates for the over-savoriness you might have been worried about. You won’t understand why, but you’ll keep going back for more sips, likely until it’s all gone,” Yagoda writes for the magazine. Is this bright green drink something you’d be willing to take a chance on? Sonic is no stranger to unusual flavor combination in their frozen beverages. The world’s most expensive chocolate is on display in Portugal
Chocolate can make a bad day better. So how rough of a day would you need to have to splurge on the world’s most expensive piece of Chocolat? Portuguese chocolatier Daniel Gomes crafted a piece that retails for just $9,489. It went on display Friday in Portugal. The reason it’s so expensive is because of the ingredients. The filling includes gold flakes, saffron threads, white truffle and vanilla from Madagascar. Oh yeah, and it’s covered in edible gold. Did we mention it’s diamond shaped and its crown-shaped box is covered with 5,500 Swarovksi crystals? Hidden Valley creates most expensive bottle of ranch dressing ever
We’re not sure if Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have this item on their wedding registry. In an obvious publicity stunt (and it worked!), Hidden Valley Ranch will send the newlyweds a jewel-encrusted bottle of ranch dressing … valued at $35,000. “Hidden Valley Ranch is honoring the great pairing of a fellow famous American with British royalty, as well as those who royally love ranch, with a diamond, sapphire and 18 carat white gold encrusted glass bottle – the only way to serve America’s favorite ranch to royalty,” according to a press release.
