Sure, you can’t get the entire menu all day, but you can order staple items like hotcakes, hash browns, Fruit ‘N Yogurt Parfaits, McMuffins, and Sausage McGriddles, 24/7. If your rise and shine is somewhat sluggish some mornings, you may wonder what time can you order breakfast until at Burger King? What you can order that’s vegan-friendly at McDonald’s

Burger King is getting vegan love because of its Impossible Whopper. Taco Bell has a long list of vegan offerings. Even Chick-fil-A has delicious options for vegans in a pinch. But what about the most ubiquitous fast food chain of them all. What can vegans eat at McDonald’s? The storied restaurant chain best know for its burgers and chicken nuggets doesn’t exactly seem like a place that veggie-lovers would enjoy. Unfortunately, they’re mostly right. It is true that McDonalds doesn’t offer any vegan-certified items, and it’s also true that a lot of the foods you might mistake as vegan actually aren’t. The famously tasty french fries and hashbrowns include “natural beef flavor” made from milk derivates. Even the smoothies contain kosher gelatin. Still, if you’re a vegan who isn’t afraid of a low risk of a little cross-contamination with meat items, there are a few mostly safe menu items you…

McDonald’s still America’s favorite fast food restaurants, survey says

McDonald’s fans are still lovin’ it. In a recent survey for more than 2,000 adults, McDonald’s came out as the clear favorite fast food restaurant thanks to several categories including value and speed of service. Wendy’s claimed second place, Burger King followed in third place. Subway and KFC rounded out the top five. According to Yahoo! Finance, the survey, conducted by UBS Evidence Lab surveyed 2,029 adults who visited fast-casual restaurants at least once a month. Shamrock shakes return to McDonald’s menus nationwide

Birds chirping and snow melting are all well and good, but the first sign of spring for many is the return of the McDonald’s Shamrock Shake. Much like the McRib, Shamrock Shakes are only available at McDonalds for a limited time, while supplies last. This year, you can…

It’s called “fast food” because it’s meant to be made, assembled, packaged and in your hands in mere minutes. But not all drive-thru dining establishments can deliver on this promise. This state has the most fast-food restaurants per capita

No matter what state you live in the U.S., you’re never a far drive from a fast-food restaurant. The southern state comes in first, with the most fast-food restaurants per capita. West Virginia and Oklahoma tie for third with 5.3 locations per 10,000 residents. Vermont turned up as having the least available fast-food options with just 1.9 restaurants…

This is how many calories your drunk fast food stop is costing you, study shows

Anyone who has even stayed out late drinking knows that inevitably someone suggests a stop for greasy fast food on the ride home. There’s a reason why places like Taco Bell and Waffle House are open until the sun is practically up. It shouldn’t come as a surprise that this kind of food isn’t doing your diet any favors, but it’s hard not to take a peek at just how extensive the damage. Rehabs.com is responsible for dropping this guilt bomb on your day. The educational website surveyed more than 5,900 people about their post-heavy drinking habits to gather data on national trends. Across the country, McDonald’s and Waffle House are two of the most well-loved, late night options. Denny’s, IHOP and Wendy’s are also top finishers. But the most popular post-heavy drinking food stop was none other than Taco Bell (did you really think it would be anywhere else?). Despite Taco Bell’s sizable healthy…

Wisconsin man chows down on his 30,000th McDonald’s Big Mac

A warning for all the fast food lovers out there: this diet is not recommended. A retired Wisconsin prison guard ate his 30,000th Big Mac last week — 46 years after eating his first. WBAY-TV reports that Fond du Lac resident Don Gorske holds the Guinness World Record for eating the most Big Macs. The 64-year-old has eaten at least one Big Mac every day since May 17, 1972. “If I go for 40,000, that’ll take me another 14 years or whatever like that. I don’t think people celebrate 35,000 at all, so we’re probably looking at 14 more years down the road, and I’ll be 78 years old then! So we’ll have to see how I’m doing then, you know?” Gorske told WBAY-TV. Michael “Jim” Delligatti, a Pennsylvania-based McDonald’s franchisee, invented the Big Mac in 1967. Delligatti died in November 2016 at the age of 98. While the Big…
