While 94 percent of Americans snack every day, Millennials are making snacking, not meals, the dominant meal occasion of the day. I’m no exception.

Snacking should be an adventure. New snacks need to inspire and provide new experiences. Bold or spicy flavors are at the top of the list.

Here are a few snacks I’m loving this month.

Pure Coconut Water — Mojo Naturals

Since the coconut water craze started a few years ago, I’ve probably had a half dozen brands. But Mojo’s product has beat them all so far. If you felt like the classic coconut flavor had been missing from other coconut waters (possibly replaced with a nutty taste), then this water won’t disappoint. It tastes like you’re drinking from a fresh-cut coconut and nibbled a bit of the meat away as well.

Crispy Pineapple Chips — Natural Sins

Not your ordinary dried fruit. Think of it as a paper-thin, sweet fruit potato chip. Natural Sins thinly slices through an entire pineapple — skin, core and all — the bakes them low and slow. The pineapple flavor is completely on point and the crunch is craveable.

Lemon Ginger Kale Chips — Evergreen’s Premium Dried Foods

These kale chips are made only using olive oil, lemon juice, ginger root and salt. The light lemon and ginger combo comes through as you begin chewing the crunchy kales leaves. The ginger and salt give a flavor that could easily take the place of your chips.

Mini Chocolate Chip Cookies — Zemas Madhouse Foods

No diet is without want of chocolate chip cookies. Zemas created a cookie manufactured in a facility free of the top 8 allergens (milk, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, soy, wheat, fish and shellfish). They’re certified rice free, gluten-free and vegan. And they’re actually delicious. Perfect for dunking in milk, or soy milk, or whatever dairy-free alternative you choose.

Keep’n it Smooth — The Peanut Principle

Millennials love to support Made in America. This dry roasted peanut butter is GMO-free and vegan. This PB worked as perfectly in my peanut butter brownies as it did on an English muffin. Compared to big name peanut butters on the market who claim the same, this one actually tastes like it has one ingredient — because it does.

Smoked Almonds (California Chile Blend) — AG Standard

Boring taste buds beware! The spicy smell hits you as soon as you open the bag. But it’s not just heat. The nuts have loads of visible flavor thanks to a roll call of delicious peppery ingredients: California chili pepper, cayenne pepper, red pepper flakes, espelette pepper and black pepper.
