Whipping up the full morning menu has reportedly slowed down and complicated operations, so in July 2019, McDonald’s corporate gave individual franchisees the option to scale back their breakfast offerings at 10:30 or 2 p.m. each day, if they choose.
So the good news is if you’re looking for a fast-food breakfast after Burger King closes its griddles down, you can still find one at McDonald’s—the bad news is you just might have to drive around until you find one still open.
