You’ll still be wearing summer shorts when you show up, but beginning August 28 you’ll be able to sip Pumpkin Spice Lattes at Starbucks.

A spokesperson for the coffee chain confirmed that the favorite fall drink will return the Tuesday before Labor Day, making it the earliest launch date the latte has ever seen. The 2018 fall season will be the first time the drink has debuted in the month of August.

According to Business Insider, Starbucks also plans to also bring back the Salted Caramel Mocha and the Teavana Pumpkin Spice Chai Tea Latte, which was introduced last year on August 28, days ahead of the PSL. Other beverages will debut throughout the season.

This year will mark the 15th straight year Starbucks has served the iconic Pumpkin Spice Latte. For many, the warm, rich coffee beverage is the first official marker of the season, and something looked forward to throughout the year. The Pumpkin Spice Latte drives sales for Starbucks, but in recent years, many competitors have released version of the fall-flavored beverage, saturating the market.

The last time the Pumpkin Spice Latte was available in the month of August was in 2014, when customers who competed in an online scavenger hunt could order the drink on August 26, ahead of the official Sept. 2 launch date.

The release date creep is likely due to heavy competition amongst chain restaurants in the fall coffee and beverages category.
