Jeff Goldblum, the accomplished actor and jazz pianist, can now add sausage chef to his resumé.

The movie star, arguably best known for his role as Dr. Ian Malcolm in 1993’s Jurassic Park, was spotted handing out sausage sandwiches from a food truck parked in Sydney, Australia’s Wynyard Park. Adding to the mystique, the side of the black and white vehicle was marked “Chef Goldblum’s Jazzy Snags” and was emblazoned with an image of the actor’s face.

Goldblum offered no explanation for the stunt, but apparently none was needed. People lined up around the block for a free sausage sandwich. (With or without Goldblum, who wouldn’t!)

The Daily Telegraph tried to get Goldblum to spill the secrets of the food stand, but he remained cryptic.

” I was doing the Thor movie on the Gold Coast some time ago, but now I’m doing a project that I have to be secretive about, but there is some thematic tie-in to this,” he said.

Continuing to be vague, he added, “I’m doing a little research for some work that I’m going to do in my chosen profession.”

The food truck was going on the same time Jurassic World producers announced the actor would return to the franchise alongside Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard, but the two projects don’t seem to be related.
